The KC Mask VBF 99.9 is the only reusable, patented half face-respirator on the market worldwide with replaceable, built-in, high-efficiency twin filters which protects both ways, the user and immediate environment against the tiniest viruses and bacteria larger than 0.03 microns.

 

The specially developed virus filters have been tested by Nelson Laboratories for the highest bacterial and viral efficiency for 24 hours of active wear proven to be 99,98% efficient for viral filtration including SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) viruses or smaller, and 99,99% efficient for bacterial filtration.

Relevant testing was carried out with the use of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria (approx. 1,0μm size) and phi-X 174 bacteriophage virus (approx. 0,027μm size). Viruses like the SARS-CoV-2 have an average size of 0,06-0,14 microns.

This half face mask is manufactured from a unique medical, skin-friendly, flexible, lightweight silicone-like material to create a strong yet comfortable seal on the face, secured with long adjustable straps providing a tight fit for every face shapes. The mask has no exhalation valves, to minimize infections.

The KC Mask is available in two sizes (S, L), in eight different colours.

The KC Mask is uniquely equipped with a nose clip to support eyeglasses, in addition the tight face seals prevent any glasses from fogging.

The mask body is reusable with appropriate disinfecting procedure between each use. Detailed instructions are given in the user’s guide. The mask has replaceable, built-in virus filters provided by the manufacturer, the filters can be snapped out easily and must be replaced after 24 hours active wear. Do not use with other breathing filters.

 

This half-face respirator is categorized as a PPE-R cat. III. COVID-19 reusable personal protective equipment after Regulation (EU) 2016/425 of the European Parliament and of the Council – for use as PPE-R 02.075 Version 02 in accordance with MSZ EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 standard and in accordance with WHO guidance, holding a CE2233 certificate, and it is classified in the FFP2 category regarding to testing based on EN 149: 2001 + A1: 2009.

This filtering half-mask is not for general use and shall not be used for other purposes. It’s a protection against COVID-19 or other viral and bacterial infections.
